First Impressions of AngelWax: A Scottish Automotive Detailing Brand
A few days ago, I was contacted by AngelWax, a Scotland-based automotive manufacturing products company. They reached out after seeing some of my previous reviews and asked if I’d be interested in trying out a few of their products. As always, I aim to be transparent and honest with my reviews, and while the products and some branded merchandise were provided free of charge, this will in no way influence my final thoughts.
From the moment I agreed, I was impressed with the professionalism of their service. I received a tracking number immediately after the order was confirmed and was kept updated throughout the entire delivery process. It’s always reassuring to know exactly when your package will arrive, especially when it’s something you’re excited about testing.
Unboxing the AngelWax Package
When the parcel arrived, the first thing that caught my eye was the branding. The outer box was stamped with the AngelWax logo, which made it feel like a premium delivery right from the start. Upon opening the box, I was pleased to see that the contents were carefully packed. The combination of bubble wrap and sturdy outer packaging ensured that everything arrived in perfect condition—no damaged products, which is always a good sign of a company that cares about the customer experience.
What Was Inside?
I received three products from AngelWax to review, each of which will get its own dedicated post in the coming weeks. Here’s a quick overview of what was in the box:
1. October Rain – Spray Air Freshener
The first product out of the box was a spray-style air freshener called October Rain. Upon first spritz, the fragrance was fantastic—fresh, but not overpowering. I’m looking forward to seeing how it performs in my car over time.
2. H2GO – Rain Repellent Glass Protection
The next product was H2GO, which is a rain repellent designed for glass surfaces. I’m excited to put this to the test, especially as we move into the wetter months here in the UK. If it works as well as advertised, it could be a game changer for keeping visibility clear in rainy conditions.
3. Dark Fader – Ceramic Trim Coating
The final product was Dark Fader, a ceramic coating specifically for plastic trims. This product promises to rejuvenate and protect plastics, so I’ll be testing it on my vehicle’s faded trims to see how it holds up.
Merchandise and Extras
In addition to the detailing products, AngelWax also sent a few branded goodies. I received a coffee cup, lanyard, pen, and a set of hanging air fresheners—all of which were nicely designed and consistent with the brand’s image. There was also a social media card encouraging customers to share their purchases online and tag the company, a nice touch that shows their commitment to building a community around their brand.
First Impressions
So far, I’ve been really impressed with AngelWax. From the initial contact and delivery process to the product packaging and branding, everything has felt premium. While I’ve only just unboxed the products, my first impressions are very positive. The real test, of course, will be how these products perform, and I’ll be posting full reviews once I’ve had the chance to properly test each one.
A big thank you to AngelWax for reaching out and sending these products over. I’m excited to see how they perform and share my detailed thoughts with all of you soon.
